My husband and I stayed here for a week in August and the property was perfect in every way. The view from the front door is to die for with the shingle beach literally across the road and the beauty of the loch on the doorstep. What made this perfect? - two en suite bedrooms and a downstairs loo, a large kitchen diner, a smart tv where you can access Netflix, Amazon Prime and BBC iPlayer, a large decked terrace off the upstairs landing with table and chairs to seat 6 for outside dining and even a BBQ for your use. The decor is lovely and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. Private parking opposite is a bonus. To add to all this is the welcome we received from Brigitte and Harry - so friendly and just next door to answer any questions and full of local knowledge. The provision of milk, juice and fresh fruit was most welcome and seemed typical of their hospitality. We’re already planning our next trip to this lovely property. Oh and Ullapool is thriving and the surrounding area is as wonderful as ever 😍

My husband and I stayed at Beach House in August 2019. The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable, cosy and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location is amazing. The house is only a few minutes' walk away from Ullapool's shops, restaurants and coffee shops and has beautiful views over Loch Broom from the living room and and bedrooms. At the rear of the house is a spacious balcony with an amazing barbecue where you can sit and enjoy the sun or a meal. Brigitte and Harry are perfect hosts - not at all instrusive but friendly and helpful and on hand if you need anything. I'd definitely recommend this property!

Amazing view from cottage, private parking space, accommodation spotless with all mod cons, plenty of extras so you don't have the worry of getting to the shop as soon as you arrive, Brigitte and Harry are a lovely couple who whilst living next door leave you alone. We wanted somewhere that was loch side, had wonderful views and didn't feel cut off. The Beach House ticked all the boxes.

What an amazing week we have had. The Beach House is exceptional. The accommodation is perfect. Everything is so clean and fresh in the house. The view is literally outstanding. As for our lovely hosts Harry, Brigitte and not forgetting wee Williow, they were exceptional and so accommodating and kind. I cannot recommend the Beach House highly enough. Thank you for an amazing week.

We highly recommend Beach House. Brigitte & Harry really “go the extra mile” to make sure everything is provided for a perfect holiday. The setting of the cottage is perfect with loch views from most of the rooms. We hope to return.

Wir haben zu dritt eine Woche im Beach House verbracht und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Unsere Gastgeber Brigitte und Harry, die direkt nebenan wohnen, haben uns herzlich empfangen und alles im Haus erklärt was man wissen muss. Die 2 Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss haben ein sehr großes und ein großes bequemes Doppelbett mit Blick auf den Loch Broom mit seinen Fischerbooten. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und idyllisch. Die Küche im Erdgeschoss ist groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Durch sie gelangt man auf eine Terrasse mit Blick zum Garten, auf der wir unsere Fahrräder sicher abstellen konnten. Vom Obergeschoss gibt es einen Zugang zu einer zweiten großen Terrasse mit Tisch, Stühlen und einem modernen Barbecue mit Gasbrenner. Leider war es bei uns meist zu kalt und nass um diese am Abend öfters zu nutzen. Ein gemütliches kleines Wohnzimmer im Erdgeschos rundet dieses schöne Landhaus ab. Die Umgebung ist grandios und wir waren trotz des recht feuchten Wetters vor allem Wandern. Vom Ullapool Hill hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf das Städtchen, Loch Broom und die umliegenden Berge, die natürlich auch zum Wandern einladen. Und für Angler warten im Loch Broom die Seelachse und Makrelen.

The house was exceptionally clean and well equipped. It is in a superb location benefitting from fantastic loch views but within the town. Our hosts were kind and very welcoming but not at all intrusive. We have stayed at several Ullapool holiday homes over many years and this holiday property shone out for us and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic accommodation, stunning views, close to shops and pubs/cafes/restaurants.Lovely terrace with a great BBQ.The house is very well equipped with good wifi which our teenage sons appreciated.If we were returning to Ullapool for a holiday we would definitely stay here again.

Ullapool is an excellent base for touring the West Coast. If anything the description of Beach House does not blow its trumpet enough. Fantastic uninterrupted views down Loch Broom. Very well equipped with tastefull furnishing and comfortable beds. The welcome tea, coffee ,fresh juice hit the spot after a long journey. Our hosts Brigitte and Harry were welcoming and informative about the area.

Don't miss the Seafood Shack, 2 minutes walk from house. Fresh seafood daily above the standard fish n chips. Highly recommend the lobster and scallops.
